These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of quantumtutoring.ai and everything offered through it, including lecture series, interactive tutors and lessons, and digital study guides (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Quantum Tutoring LLC (“Quantum Tutoring,” “we,” “us”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. Accounts and purchases must be created and made by an adult (18 or older).
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for one person and may not be shared. Tell us right away at info@quantumtutoring.ai if you think someone has used your account without permission.
3. Digital study guides and your license
When you buy a digital study guide, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, view, and print it for your own study. You may not share, resell, upload, post, or distribute the files, or remove any copyright or identifying notices. Classroom, school, or organizational use requires a separate license; contact us.
4. Prices, payment, and refunds
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change at any time, but a change will not affect an order already placed. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
Because digital files are delivered immediately, all sales of digital products are final. If a file is defective, will not download, or is not what was described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will replace it or refund your payment.
Paperback editions linked from our site are sold by Amazon and are subject to Amazon’s terms and return policies.
5. Educational purpose; no guarantee of results
The Services are educational tools. We work hard to make them accurate and effective, but we do not guarantee any particular score, admission decision, or other outcome. Our interactive tutors are automated, and they and our other materials may occasionally contain errors. If you spot one, please tell us so we can fix it.
6. Independence from testing organizations
Quantum Tutoring is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any testing organization. SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and AP are trademarks registered by the College Board. PSAT/NMSQT is also a trademark jointly owned by the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. GRE is a registered trademark of ETS. MCAT is a registered trademark of the Association of American Medical Colleges. None of these organizations was involved in producing, or endorses, our materials.
7. Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- copy, scrape, download in bulk, or redistribute lessons, tutors, videos, or other content
- share your account or purchased files with others
- attempt to bypass access controls, payment, or security measures
- interfere with the site’s operation or use bots or automated tools against it
- use the Services for anything unlawful
8. Our content
All content on the Services, including text, problems, solutions, explanations, videos, narration, software, graphics, and design, belongs to Quantum Tutoring LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the limited license in Section 3 and ordinary personal use of the site, no rights are granted to you.
9. Links to other sites
The Services may link to sites we do not control, such as Amazon, Physics First Series, and the Physics First Foundation. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT PROGRESS SAVED IN YOUR BROWSER WILL BE PRESERVED.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUANTUM TUTORING LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Sections 3 (as to restrictions), 6, 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply from the time they are posted, and continuing to use the Services after that means you accept them. For significant changes, we will also notify account holders by email.
