This Privacy Policy explains how Quantum Tutoring LLC (“Quantum Tutoring,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit quantumtutoring.ai, create an account, use our interactive tutors and lessons, or buy our study guides. We have tried to keep it short and plain.
1. Who we are
Quantum Tutoring LLC operates quantumtutoring.ai. You can reach us at info@quantumtutoring.ai or by mail at 625 Kenmoor Ave SE, Ste 350, PMB 322682, Grand Rapids, MI 49546-2395, USA.
2. Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and username. Your password is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
Purchase information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us your name, email address, billing country or postal code, the last four digits and type of your card, and the details of what you bought, so we can deliver your purchase and keep required business records.
Messages you send us. If you email us or use our contact page, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
Learning progress. Our interactive tutors and lessons save your progress (for example, problems attempted, mistakes, and mastered topics) in your own browser’s local storage on your device. This information is not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data, or using a different device or browser, will erase or not carry over that progress.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of each request. We use this for security, troubleshooting, and preventing abuse.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and give you access to what you purchased
- To process payments and deliver digital downloads
- To respond to your questions and support requests
- To send essential account and purchase emails (receipts, password resets, important changes)
- To protect the site against spam, fraud, and automated abuse
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We will only send you marketing email if you have chosen to receive it, and every such email will include a way to unsubscribe.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage that the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, completing checkout, protecting forms from bots, and saving your tutor and lesson progress on your device. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
5. Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of companies to run the site. Each receives only the information it needs to provide its service:
- GoDaddy: website hosting
- Stripe: payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot
- Google Fonts: delivers the typefaces used on the site, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers
- Gravatar and Akismet (Automattic): profile images and spam filtering for WordPress features
- Amazon: some study guides link to Amazon for paperback purchases. Once you follow that link, Amazon’s privacy policy applies
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
6. Children and students
Our programs are designed for high school, college, and graduate students. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Students aged 13 to 17 should use the site with the permission of a parent or guardian. Accounts and purchases must be created and made by an adult (18 or older), such as a parent or guardian.
7. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is active. We keep purchase records for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes (generally up to seven years). We delete or anonymize other information when we no longer need it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to send you a copy of it, by emailing info@quantumtutoring.ai. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states with privacy laws, Canada, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
9. Security
The site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, passwords are stored in hashed form, and card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as required by law.
10. Where information is stored
Our site and service providers are based in the United States. If you use the site from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
